DECORTE Fragrance

Concept Design — Project Leading — Branding & Graphics

Launched in end 2020, Japanese beauty giant Kosé’s new collection of fragrances for its leading high-prestige brand Decorté is called KIMONO.
I was happy to work with this project from the very beginning, under creative direction of Marcel Wanders studio. The process including concept development for the scent and collection mood, product and packaging design, and branding details such as naming & storytelling.

All four Decorté scents are targeted to different markets; China & Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe and Americas. With new internationally strategy in mind, the fragrance collection is one of the key products to represent Decorté’s refreshed brand image abroad: it embraces company’s long heritage, Japanese roots, and commitment to the top quality.

Below you get a sneak peak to our work-in-progress. The project was unique opportunity to learn about multi-national brand approach, get glimpse of extremely interesting perfume world and challenge myself to step beyond my comfort zone.
